Martin’s been a legend at Rote since 1993. If you've picked up plants here, chances are you've met him. He’s impossible to miss, thanks to the rock music, trademark baseball cap, and thick mustache he’s worn proudly for decades. He’s also a legend at fitting an impossible number of plants into even the smallest vehicle; imagine clowns in a Volkswagen, but leafier. If you doubt it, he’s happy to demonstrate with a cheeky smile.

He’s deeply knowledgeable about plants and enthusiastic about engaging with customers. He likes to believe it's his natural charisma and famously friendly charm that bring customers back... but we know it's the quality of our plants. Added bonus: Martin is reliable to a fault. He hasn’t missed a day of work in ages and his order accuracy is darn near 100%.

So of course the biggest personality in the greenhouse runs the dock. With Martin at the helm, it’s efficient, organized, and guaranteed to send customers off with tightly packed trucks and smiles on their faces.
