Octavio started at Rote on Halloween 2001... no costume, no candy, just a solid day’s work. Since then, he’s worked in a few corners of the greenhouse, but these days you’ll find him on the boxed dock, making sure every outgoing order is packed with care and checked for accuracy.

Before moving to the dock, Octavio spent years with the Dracaena cane crop, gaining a deep appreciation for what goes into growing a quality plant. Now, he brings that same attention to outbound orders and is working toward his goal of 100% accuracy on every shipment. He takes pride in keeping things moving, getting it right, and steadily improving how the space runs.

He’s especially fond of the plants we grow and is always thinking about ways to make his dock more efficient and organized. When he’s off the clock, you might find him sketching; quiet work that suits his focus and attention to detail.
