Stephanie’s first greenhouse job was in her family’s garage, age 8, drilling holes in hanging pots for a penny apiece. She went on to work full-time at Rote from 1995 to 2006 before stepping away to raise her four children. In July of 2024, she returned, bringing fresh energy, streamlining the buying process, and putting renewed focus on the kind of customer care Rote was built on.

With 30 years of bookkeeping experience, Stephanie brings structure, clarity, and a sharp eye for what needs fixing. She’s also working toward full Spanish fluency - one customer conversation at a time - to help ensure everyone feels heard and supported.

She’s equally committed to backing the team that’s dedicated their entire careers to Rote. To the people whose hard work and loyalty have been key to its long-term success. You’ll find her in the office (though rarely at the same time twice), beneath an impressive collection of fake plants (shh, don’t tell her dad), firmly rejecting the idea that “it’s just a greenhouse” is an excuse for anything. She keeps her focus where it counts and if something needs fixing, organizing, or improving, she’s already on it.
